Massachusetts’ first official cultural districts include three NoBo communities

Two arrested for thefts at Logan including Lynn resident

Stolen property recovered following State Police investigation at Logan Airport through out February.

BOSTON/LYNN – A joint investigation by Massachusetts State Police and the Massachusetts Port Authority resulted in the arrests yesterday of two baggage handlers at Logan International Airport for theft and receiving stolen property, including 25-year-old Lynn resident Lashawn Fontenot. Ten NoBo communities receive $5 million for park creation and restoration

MASSACHUSETTS – Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray today announced more than $5 million in grants to enhance parks and recreational facilities in 10 communities throughout the NoBo region. Recruits Graduate from Firefighting Academy

MASSACHUSETTS – State Fire Marshal Stephen D. Coan and Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Director Edmund M. Walker announced the graduation of the 193rd class of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy’s sixty-day Recruit Firefighting Program last week.
