Cape Ann Symphony to Feature Guitar Virtuoso & World Premiere from Japanese Composer

Guest Artist Guitar virtuoso Grisha Goryachev who makes his Cape Ann symphony debut on March 20.

MANCHESTER BY THE SEACape Ann Symphony will feature a Global Musical Tour with music from Germany’s Beethoven, Spain’s Rodrigo and a world premiere work from Japan’s Takashi  Koto on Sunday, March 20, 2016. Guest Artist Guitar virtuoso Grisha Goryachev who makes his Cape Ann symphony debut during this performance in Cape Ann Symphony’s 64th Season, led by Music Director Yoichi Udagawa.

 

The concert program will kick off with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in C Minor. Guest artist renowned guitar virtuoso Grisha Goryachev in his Cape Ann Symphony debut will be playing the exotic Spanish guitar concerto, Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez. It will conclude with the world premiere of Araumi to Nagi (Stormy and Calm Seas) from Boston-based Japanese composer Takashi Koto.
