Turner’s Melrose to Host Mediterranean Wine Dinner
MELROSE – On Tues. February 2, 2016, Turner’s Seafood and Jim Barnard of M.S. Walker Fine Wine & Spirits will host their encore experience of an intimate wine dinner that tours the food, wine, and cultures of the exotic countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.
Turner’s Seafood Grill & Market opened in Melrose in 1994 as an authentic New England seafood house is complete with a fresh fish market and turn-of-the-century oyster bar. From their classic, New England seafood menu including Oysters Rockefeller, Lobster Pie, Newfoundland Finnan Haddie, and Turner’s Jonah Crab Cakes, to Chef’s interpretive culinary mastery for creating unique dishes with the season’s freshest ingredients, Turner’s takes great pride in preparing authentic seafood dining the way it should be.
Turners expanded its retail operation to historic Gloucester, the nation’s oldest fishing port in 2006, with Turner’s Seafood Market. In the fall of 2010, the Turner family launched its online Dock to Door Seafood Market shipping fresh fish daily overnight from Gloucester to anywhere in the continental USA.
In November of 2013, historic Lyceum Hall in Salem became home to the family’s latest seafood restaurant. Turner’s Seafood at Lyceum Hall provides classic lunch and dinner fare, creative daily specials, authentic shuck and serve oyster bar and the city’s only seafood market.
