Gas up 9¢ this week, 20¢ in three consecutive increases
MASSACHUSETTS – Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are up nine cents this week, the third consecutive week of increases, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s July 23rd survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.569 per gallon, nine cents higher than a week ago. Prices locally are up 20 cents over the past three weeks. The current price is nine cents above the national average for self serve unleaded of $3.47. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was $3.74.
