The Voice of Ireland to perform at Peabody’s International Festival on Sept. 8
PEABODY – Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr. has announced the addition of a concert to the events planned for the 2012 International Festival featuring international singing sensation Tommy Fleming. “The Voice of Ireland” will appear in the Frank L. Wiggin Auditorium on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 7PM.
Tommy will grace the stage at Peabody City Hall just prior to his twelve city tour of Australia. He recently recorded a PBS special to be shown this winter and is scheduled to appear at Boston’s Symphony Hall in September 2013.
“I am extremely proud and excited that we are able to bring such an internationally acclaimed entertainer to our great city” said Mayor Bettencourt. “I hope many will join us as we expand the annual celebration of our city’s diversity and extend a warm Peabody welcome to Tommy Fleming.
Tickets are now available to the general public. All tickets will be sold in the Wiggin auditorium beginning at 9AM. No telephone orders will be accepted prior to Wednesday, July 11. Ticket orders will not be accepted via voicemail or e-mail.

Orchestra Tables – $30
Balcony Tables – $25
Balcony Seats – $20
Dinner will not be offered at this concert, however, a cash bar, with beer, wine, soft drinks and water will be available.
