STONEHAM – It’s not often you get to see an age-appropriate, professional production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
Their first foray into the world’s most popular playwright, the Stoneham Theatre has paired up professional actors with those from the theatre’s young company for a look at the tragedy with some contemporary insights.
For Romeo and Juliet, Directors Weylin Symes and Caitlin Lowans split the cast roughly in half, with nine professional actors, many of which have performed in previous professional Stoneham Theatre productions, and 11 teenagers from the young company.
The production will run from March 1, 2012 through March 18, 2012.
Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.
Fridays at 8:00 p.m.
Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
