MBTA schedules public hearing in Revere for March 6th

REVERE – Representative Kathi-Anne Reinstein joined Speaker of the House Robert A. DeLeo & Senator Anthony Petruccelli to announce the MBTA has scheduled a public meeting in Revere regarding the recently released Fare & Services proposals.

The Fare and Services Proposals (available at are aimed at fixing the MBTA’s $161 million budget deficit.  The meeting will give residents of Revere and surrounding communities the opportunity to have their voice heard and help shape the final recommendations due before the MBTA’s Board of Directors this spring.

The meeting will take place on March 6th, 2012 at 6:00 PM. It will be held in the Paul Revere School at 395 Revere Street in Revere. For those unable to attend, they may also express their concerns through March 1 in the following ways:
