Mystic River Polar Plunge TODAY at Constitution Beach

CHELSEA – The Mystic River Watershed Association (MyRWA) has changed the first Mystic River Polar Plunge to be held at Constitution Beach on Coleridge Street in East Boston, MA on Saturday, January 28 from 1-2PM. The event was originally scheduled to be held at Mary O’Malley Park Commandants Way in Chelsea.

The MyRWA is looking for participants to celebrate and promote the recreational opportunities of the Mystic as well as the water quality testing and environmental policy efforts of the MyRWA. Association staff, volunteers and others are being recruited to dive into the Mystic River as the kickoff for MyRWA’s 40th Anniversary year.

Whether you come and take the plunge or just to watch and support a worthy cause, hot beverages will be available to warm revelers up!

Those looking to take part are asked to pre-register by clicking here.

Organizers warn that participation is at your own risk.

The event is free, open to the public, and will be held rain, snow, or shine. If you have questions, please call 1-781-316-3438 or visit the MyRWA website for more information.
