Sen. Sal DiDomenico named “Legislator of the Year” by Mass. American Planning Association
MASSACHUSETTS – Senator Sal DiDomenico has been awarded the “Legislator of the Year” by the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Planning Association, according to a press release on Friday.
The honor recognizes an elected official who has made a significant contribution to community planning. The award was given to both Senator DiDomenico and Representative Linda Dorcena Forry for their work as chairs of the Joint Committee on Community Development and Small Business as well as for their support of the Community Preservation Act, a bill co-sponsored by both legislators.
“I am honored to receive this award from the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Planning Association,” said Senator DiDomenico. “Our committee has worked diligently this year to advance legislation such as the Community Preservation Act, which will help strengthen neighborhoods and allow our communities to stay strong and thrive. We look forward to continuing this important work during the next year.”
