NSMT Once Again Tackles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol
BEVERLY – The North Shore Music Theatre was alive with the Christmas spirit this past weekend, filled to capacity on Saturday night as an audience came to enjoy a musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens’ classic, “A Christmas Carol”.
Actor David Coffee is back for his 18th performance as Ebeneezer Scrooge, continuing a longtime North Shore tradition. According to reports, he received a rousing applause when he first entered the stage at this year’s debut performance on Saturday. The cast of 30 also features young performers from many local communities in the area.
The production is an original adaptation by former NSMT artistic director, Jon Kimbell, and members of the NSMT staff.
“A Christmas Carol” runs through December 23rd at the North Shore Music Theatre located on 62 Dunham Road in Beverly. Evening shows begin at 7:30 p.m. on December 9, 10, 16, 17, 21, 22 and 23. Matinees are at 2PM on Deccember 10, 11, 17, 18, and 23.Tickets range in price, from $45 to $60.
