Everett Wins Division 1A Super Bowl, Ninth for Coach DiBiaso

EVERETT – The Everett Crimson Tide earned their 25th consecutive victory at Super Bowl Saturday, winning the MIAA Eastern Massachusetts Division 1A State Championship. The Tide went 13-0 this season, and their latest victory is now the ninth title under Head Coach John DiBiaso during his twenty-year tenur.

As it would be their last game together, it was an emotional one for DiBiaso and his son, senior state-record setting quarterback Jonathan DiBiaso who had 103-career TD passes following Saturday’s game.

Despite his ability to throw the ball, DiBiaso and the Tide picked up their win on the ground Saturday, with Vondell Langston rushing for 126 yards and a TD, DiBiaso for 70 yards and two TD’s, and Jakarrie Washington with a 63-yard TD in the fourth quarter.
