Smolak Farms Harvest Festival TODAY

NORTH ANDOVER – Join one of the north shore’s most popular orchards today to take part in some of New England’s traditional fall festivities. Smolak Farms annual Harvest Festival continues today through 4PM. The festival includes special activities for children, music, face painting, hay wagon rides and much more!

After you’re done picking your own apples, join other families from across the NoBo region in the Children’s Farm Festival where you can visit the animal petting area, take a hayride around the farm, and ride a wide selection of carnival favorites.

Visit with Johnny Appleseed and his sister Elizabeth Chapman who will be playing the fiddle as Johnny takes your children around to distribute seeds.  This will be taking place in the Old Standard Orchard, located just across the street from our parking lot.

In the Fall Festival area, located behind our Farm Stand children can decorate pumpkins, apples and other vegetables that have been harvested. We will also have Make Your Own Caramel Apple, while supplies last.

Be sure to pick up some fresh and delicious cider donuts as well!

Admission to the Children’s Farm Festival is free for adults, and children’s general admission begins at $3.00. Adults are free and  parking is free all weekend long! For more information please visit www.smolakfarms.com.

Normal operating hours for the orchard are 8AM to 4PM with farmstand hours extending from 7AM to 6PM. The farm is located at 315 South Bradford Street in North Andover.
