Senior, Military Days This Week at Topsfield Fair

TOPSFIELD – The 193rd Topsfield Fair continues this week, offering a number of specials to attract visitors from across the region.

The fair will welcome seniors, 60 years and older, at a discounted rate on Monday October 3rd for their annual Senior Day event. These visitors can purchase tickets for $7.00 at ticket booths.

On Tuesday, organizers will honor all active members of the military. These men and women are invited to bring their families to the fair free of charge on Tuesday, October 4th. These visitors need only show their identification at the admission gate.

From agricultural exhibits to carnival favorites, the nation’s oldest county fair is held annually at the Topsfield Fairgrounds at 207 Boston Street. The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. through Columbus Day.

“The theme this year is the ‘fun never grows old,'” general manager James O’Brien has said.
