EAST BOSTON – Every 15 minutes, a family receives the news that their child has an autism spectrum disorder. Join thousands today in East Boston for the 2011 Walk Now for Autism Speaks. Help raise funds, become part of a fun and supportive community, and help stem the fastest-growing serious developmental disorder in the United States.
Join Autism Speaks as they walk “to change the future for all who struggle with autism”. The fun-filled, family friendly event is the single most powerful force to fund research. The walk will take place at the Suffolk Downs track. The Autism Community Resource Fair will feature more than 30 local providers and organizations, sponsored by the Popcorners.
“The Swingset Mamas” will also be on hand performing for crowds while youngsters enjoy a bounce house, sensory activities, and plenty of other fun for the entire family.
Lunch will be provided for all participants by Uno Chicago Grill
Registration, Resource Fair and Entertainment begins at 9:00AM with the walk starting at 10:30AM.
